About

Hi my name is Alexandra, but you can call me Alex. This is where I come to share my travels, stories, passions, and experiences. Sometimes I might appear lost, but as Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “Do not go where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”

  1. Uncle Spike took a gamble and said “Hey, I’ll follow this mad Alex”… probably in the vain hope some of the energy will pass back over the internet 🙂
I’m very picky when it comes to ‘following’ as there are just so many folk out there (got 560 or so myself), but I liked the style and energy of your blog Alex – you should get more readers me thinks!
As for climbing, I used to scramble around without ropes in my younger days quite a bit (see The Island An Update, a post under my Travel adventures). I also was on he Greek island of Kalymnos this past summer (just close to use): it’s a climbers paradise – been here yet?

  2. Hi, I’m from Minnesota and I’m thinking of going to folk school after college. I was just wondering if I could get your email address or another way to contact you so I can ask some questions about Nordfjord. Thanks!

  3. So awesome Alex. I’ve enjoyed reading about your adventures! I will have to share this with Gabby – she will be thrilled, and she might try to sneak off on one of her own expeditions.

  4. Hello Alex,

Just chanced upon your blog and reading your “about” page and the images here convinced me that, there is quite a lot of adventure in stock 🙂

Let me follow your adventures and travel stories ….
    Have a great time 🙂
